I just got back from a 15 day camp trip... You've all seen my posts of the Yellowstone Trail and it's historical Value. Well... my Very Good Friends (The Beemans) and I decided this past winter to travel the Yellowstone Trail from Spokane to Ipswich, SD. Me pulling my Lillie (1959 Aloha), vintage travel trailer and them pulling their newer trailer.

We set our course, planned our stops and set the date. We started our trip in Spokane... visiting kids (& Gkids) for a day or two. Then on Sunday the 13th (Mother's Day) we set off for Ipswich. We drove 400 miles the first two days to get to Ipswich by Tuesday. We got a personal tour of the JW Parmley home (father of the YT)... visited a candle making shop that made beeswax candles for the Vatican.
Then we continued our trip, visiting Mount Rushmore, the Black Hills, Custer National Park, Devil's Tower, the Badlands, Sturgis, Deadwood, Phillipsburg, Deer Lodge and back to Spokane on Wed. the 23rd. I painted a crap load of rocks Yellow, deco'd the YT sign on many and we spread them along our travels. 10 days of travel and then a few days spent visiting Kids & Gkids
